Lead Site Production with One of WA’s Fastest Growing Mining Contractors

Our client is a vertically integrated mining services contractor delivering crushing, haulage, civil and production services across Western Australia. With significant recent growth, including the recent acquisition of a major mining haulage contractor.

We’re now seeking a skilled Production Mining Supervisor to oversee production mining activities at one of their mine sites that are ramping up to a third crew. You’ll be responsible for leading mobile plant operators and production crews to ensure safe, efficient and high-output operations across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all day-to-day production activities on site, including load and haul, stockpiling, and ROM feed

Lead and coordinate mobile plant operators (trucks, dozers, graders, excavators) to meet production targets

Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, site policies, and environmental requirements

Conduct pre-start meetings, task allocations, and ongoing toolbox talks

Liaise with the site manager, dispatch, and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maximise output

Monitor and report on production KPIs, shift performance and contractor activities

Identify operational improvements and contribute to continuous improvement across the team

Complete shift reports, incident investigations, and hazard management records

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Mining Supervisor on a production iron ore site

Strong leadership capability and ability to manage crews effectively in high-paced environments

Sound knowledge of safe work procedures and WA mining regulations

Proficiency in managing mixed fleets (e.g. CAT 777, 16M, D10/D11, PC1250)

Current S1, S2, S3 & G2 (or willing to obtain)

Current manual C Class driver’s licence (HR desirable)

Able to pass a full pre-employment medical and DAS

Positive, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skills
