Join the dynamic team at Stokes Mining Services Pty Ltd as a casual Mining professional based in the heart of Central Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the operations of a well-established mining company and play a key role in supporting its ongoing success.

With several clients in the Bowen Basin our operator requests are ongoing and varied. We pride ourselves in matching operators to the right role.

This advertised position is not a new to industry position- Mine site machinery operating evidence required.

2 sites available welcoming applications from single to multi skilled operators.

Site- 1- located Middlemount, Qld
Site-2 - located Burton, Qld

Site- #1- Production Mining- Middlemount - Long term works
Hourly rate ranging from $58-65p/hr
Monthly production bonus- Subject to KPIs
7/7- Alternating day & night roster
Rigid Haul Truck (793), dozer, grader & excavator (5-600Tonne)
BIBO- Bundaberg, Rockhampton & Mackay.

Must provide site sign off records for machinery skills set (this is not a new to industry role)

Site- #2-Production Mining- Burton
Hourly rate ranging from $64-73p/hr
7/7- Alternating day & night roster
Rigid Haul Truck (793), dozer, grader & excavator (5-600Tonne)
BIBO- Mackay.
Must provide site sign off records for machinery skills set (this is not a new to industry role)

Key responsibilities

Safely operate a range of mining equipment and machinery to extract and transport materials

Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work collaboratively with the mining team to meet production targets and deadlines

Identify and report any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Participate in ongoing training and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a mining or resources environment

Demonstrated ability to safely mining machinery

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a team

A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Willingness to work in a casual capacity
