We have an exciting position available for up to 2 Trainee Dental Assistants with no previous dental experience.

The role is full time for a trainee who can be enrolled in a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. You must be committed to completing this course in your own time while working full time if you choose to undertake the Certificate III. This full time trainee role is not compatible with studying full time.

At Sherwood Dental we have fantastic systems to train team members who are new to dentistry, so we are looking for someone with the best attitude and confidence to take on new challenges. We are busier than ever and expanding our team to cope with the significant increase in patient demand.

We have a high caliber team and we’re looking for a new team member who is passionate about life and work and has both a high level of attention to detail and a genuine warmth and empathy for patients. You must love systems and be committed to using our systems and checklists thoroughly.

We are looking for team members who are great communicators and have a passion for life and helping people. Ideally, we are looking for team members with a desire to join the dental industry for a long-term role.

This role could suit someone who has recently finished school or someone who is looking to have a long-term career in the dental industry, even if you’ve finished school many years ago.

We will be hosting a group interview on Saturday morning 17/5/25 from 7.30am to select the ideal candidates. To be considered you must be available at that time. You will also need to be available to start the role on between Monday 19/5/25 and Monday 26/5/25

We are interested in training someone who has previously excelled in their employment and current circumstances mean they are ready to enter a new career in an industry that is more recession proof than others. As this is a clinical role, we cannot accept any applicants who are squeamish as you will be taught to assist for surgical procedures.
