ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Director of B&F, you will partner with the Assistant Director of B&F & Venue Managers to develop and implement B&F departmental strategies. The position oversees and ensures that the B&F operations meet the Brand's Standards and luxury, Leading Quality Assurance and ensuring guest and talent satisfaction, focusing on growing revenues and maximizing the department's financial performance.
Lead and execute the B&F strategy in alignment with W Hotels’ luxury standards.
Work with the B&F leadership team to determine areas of concern and develop strategies to improve the department's financial performance.
Drive innovation by staying ahead of market trends and introducing new F&B experiences.
Monitor the B&F department's actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded, and opportunities are identified and addressed.
Engage, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service and elevate the guest experience.
Provide services above and beyond for guest satisfaction and ensuring return patronage and of B&F venues and the Hotels.
Focus on maintaining profit margins without compromising guest or Talent satisfaction.
Carry out any other duty/function that the Hotel Manager or General Manager may assign, and provide ongoing support to the Hotel Manager or General Manager.
ABOUT YOU
You have previous experience as a Director of F&B or similar preferably with an international hotel chain.
You are a passionate and results-driven professional with a strong technical understanding of F&B operations, coupled with a deep product knowledge and a warm, people-focused approach.
You're known for building high-performing teams through inspiring coaching, clear direction, and a strong focus on talent development.
Highly organized and efficient, you thrive in fast-paced environments, using your analytical skills to assess business trends and drive business strategies.
You navigate change with integrity, resolve conflicts effectively, and make innovative, results-driven decisions.
Your can-do attitude sets the tone for excellence, and you’re always eager to take on new challenges and grow in your career.
A strong career foundation in the Australian hotel market and luxury hotel operations is highly valued.
