About the Role

Our Sport & Community Venues branch is responsible for planning and managing quality sport and recreation venues to enhance health and wellbeing within the community and the social and economic vitality of the region.

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will provide high quality food and beverage operations and service that enhances the overall event experience at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Altitude Nine (City Hall), Venue 114 and Caloundra Indoor Stadium.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor assists the Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of food and beverage service.

You will supervise all the food and beverage operations ensuring a high standard of delivery and efficiency including staff planning, menu design, client liaison and event management.

About you

As a requirement of this role, you will have demonstrated experience leading teams in the provision of food and beverage, customer service or related areas to a high standard.

You will have previous relevant experience with demonstrated communication and strong customer service skills in the provision of food and beverage services, and proven experience within a corporate catering environment. Strong organisational and administrative experience is also required.

You are required to have up to date RMLV and Food Safety qualifications or the ability to obtain upon commencement.

Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength, and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.

Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check.
