At Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences, whether it’s in our restaurant, a corporate conference, a beautiful wedding, or any special event. We’re looking for a talented Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our restaurant operations and ensure the success of our conferences, weddings, and events.

Position Overview:
The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our restaurant, as well as overseeing all food and beverage services for conferences, weddings, and special events. You will ensure that every event is executed flawlessly, from large conferences to intimate weddings, all while maintaining top-tier service in our restaurant. This role also includes corresponding with clients and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations in the restaurant, ensuring excellent service and quality

Coordinate food and beverage services for conferences, weddings, and private events

Correspond with clients to understand event requirements, customize menus, and ensure their vision is executed perfectly

Manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating prices, placing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods

Supervise, train, and motivate staff across both the restaurant and event functions to ensure excellent customer service

Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with health and safety standards

Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure the venue is adequately supplied for all operations

Develop budgets and control costs to maintain profitability in both restaurant and event services

Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure quality food and beverages that meet guest expectations

Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of special events, from menu creation to floor plan design

Drive function development by identifying new event opportunities, refining existing offerings, and continually improving service delivery

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, or in a similar role, overseeing both restaurant and event operations (minimum 3 years)

Current RMLV or willingness to get one

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities

In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, budgeting, and inventory management

Ability to plan and execute large events, conferences, and weddings

Experience in corresponding with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to accommodate events and high-traffic periods
