United Transport Equipment is a modern state of the art fabrication facility in Welshpool, with a young, vibrant and energetic team of Tradespeople, Apprentices and T/A's.

We manufacture Steel and Aluminium Trays and Canopies for light vehicles as well as performing Cab Conversions and Chassis Extensions.

Using advanced robotic welding technology, we are able to produce large volumes in a short time period.

We also have our own Amada CNC Laser cutter and CNC Press Brake onsite, as well as a fully equipped paint shop with 2 x Lowbake Ovens.

Main Duties of the Role:

Sanding and preparing trays and canopies for painting

Assisting with painting in accordance with appropriate procedure and practice to achieve a high-quality finish

Assisting with fitment of trays, canopies and other accessories

Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy

Maintain the Company’s equipment and tools, including spray booth

The successful candidate will possess the following;

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
