We are seeking trades assistants to join our team at our Hazelmere depot. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the workshop with Perth-based operations to support one of the largest workshops in the Northwest, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service excellence are maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working closely with our workshop to deliver safe and timely vehicle servicing, repairs and inspection schedules to ensure optimum operational efficiency.

Assist tradespeople with the servicing, mechanical repairs and maintenance of our diverse fleet

Assist with ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and liaise with spare parts department to ensure that the correct inventory is included for repair orders.

Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained

Monitoring the use of materials and equipment to minimise waste and damage

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as a heavy diesel trades assistant will be highly regarded

Excellent customer service focus

High standards of housekeeping

Previous experience assisting with mechanical services and repairs on buses and coaches (desirable)

Strong work ethic and ability to work calmly to meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset

Must hold a valid C class driver's license as a minimum requirement
