Trade Assistant - Paint Preppers

We have a great opportunity for a Permanent position as Paint Preppers working for a Large Manufacturer based in Eagle Farm. Our Client Manufactures specialized trucks for the civil construction industry.

The Opportunity

• Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Includes 1 hour of daily overtime)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Pay Rate: $35–$38 per hour + applicable penalties
• Additional Benefits: Rostered Days Off (RDOs)
• Location: Workshop based in Eagle Farm

Requirements

• Own Car and Licence (To get to and from work)
• Previous Paint Preparation Experience
• Previous Yardhand Experience Advantageous
• Fork Lift Licence Advantageous
• Pass Pre-employment Drug and alcohol - MUST

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment in preparation for painting
• Mask, prep, and sand surfaces prior to painting
• Handle various components and parts
• Perform general yardhand tasks including housekeeping and organisation
