About us

Towri MACS is a not-for-profit Multifunctional Aboriginal Children Service providing Education and care for Children aged 0 - 5 years, located in South Bathurst, NSW. The service is governed by Towri Aboriginal Corporation, who has been operating in the Bathurst community for 30 years.

Qualifications & experience

Experience in MYOB

Have a valid Working with Children Check

Exceptional time management and organisational skill

Completion of relevant qualifications in Bookkeeping/Accounting/Finance or equivalent knowledge of financial management practices and reporting obligations

Good organisational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

Tasks & responsibilities

Assist Centre Director to complete grant's

Complete acquittals as required

Complete payroll weekly through MYOB

Adherence to all financial deadlines involving ATO, PAYG and Super

Preparing statutory returns including Business Activity Statements (BAS)

Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (including family accounts and payments)

Assist Centre Director with preparation of yearly budgets
