Lawson Elliott Recruitment is collaborating with a highly regarded and national business who is looking to welcome in a confident Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer to join their Brisbane team. Due to a recent opening in the business, this is a new and exciting opportunity to work in a great team and be responsible for your own ledger.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:

End to end Credit and Accounts Receivable function

Maintaining financial records accurately

Debt collection - ensuring timely payment of debts

Performing debt recovery processes and negotiate payment plans with customers

Weekly/ monthly reporting

Bank reconciliations

Preparation of bills and invoices for clients

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Resolving accounts to the general ledger

Managing the credit team inbox and respond to queries

Ad-hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role:

2+ years proven work experience as a Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer or similar role

Strong and confident communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Strong interpersonal, analytical and numeracy skills
