True Water is the leading player in the site-specific wastewater industry. We seek an energetic Fabrication and Workshop Lead to join our Works and Services Group.

In this role, you will oversee fabrication and manufacture, manage production scheduling, and undertake quality management processes.

The Role

Working closely with our project delivery team, the Fabriction and Workshop Lead is responsible for managing manufacturing and coordinating day-to-day workshop activities to achieve project timelines.

Key responsibilities

Stainless steel, aluminium and plastic fabrication,

General manufacturing,

Quality control and management,

General workshop coordination,

General administration,

Identify and recommend improvements to current operations and process to improve production efficiency, quality, and output,

Direct planning and assignment of work to efficiently use personnel and ensure orders are built to specification and on budget,

Work collectively with the True Water teams to ensure the manufacturing operations adhere to timelines.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in manufacturing and fabrication, excellent hand and trade skill, be a good communicator and work well in a team.

In addition to manufacturing experience, the successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise, direct, and oversee work activities, schedules, and processes. While ensuring a timely delivery of high-quality products while adhering to safety and production objectives.
