About this role:
This position is one of support within the Organisation of Share & Care Community Services. The occupant will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure:
· The provision of high quality, effective and efficient service
· The maintenance of required standards by legislation, acts and other decrees, along with compliance in internal and external accountability.
· The promotion of the programs and Share & Care to the wider community.
· Ensure we provide a culturally sensitive service to the community.
· Development of support networks within the areas we service and surrounds.
This role supports a large number of programs; it is demanding, busy, varied and challenging.
Hours: 4 DAYS PER WEEK
Statement of outcome –
This position is responsible for providing ongoing monitoring of all services, and reporting findings to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring efficient and effective operations and adherence to all service standards and best practice and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Fostering of collaborative relationships with Program Managers is vital, as is the fostering of collaborative relationships with other community service providers and the promotion of the organisation across the regions.
This role also ensures risk management matters, service delivery, OSH and legal considerations are all managed in an effective and efficient manner.
Skills and experience:
Demonstrated success in leadership and the management of people;
Qualification – a diploma OR degree in business management, human services OR related experience in a similar role in a community organisation, government or private sector.
Demonstrated skills in the development and management of budgets, ability to read and analyse them and an understanding of what constitutes sound financial management practice;
Experience in working successfully as part of a team and autonomously;
Well-developed written and oral communication skills;
Demonstrated success in developing networks and enlisting the support of others to achieve an outcome;
Highly developed time management skills and ability to produce results under pressure;
Excellent computer skills
Experience in and knowledge of Best Practice and Quality Assurance Processes
Understanding of the impact EQ has on all HR processes
Demonstrated success in Funding applications’
