With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are expanding our team and seeking a Software Implementation Consultant based out of our Craigieburn, Melbourne office to drive successful software deployments by translating business needs into effective technical solutions, supporting growth and scalability for the organisation.

About the role

As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will play a key role in managing the implementation of Odoo as well as delivering tailored software solutions that drive operational efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead projects from discovery to deployment, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption. This role is vital to supporting our company’s growth by enhancing client satisfaction and maximizing the value of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Odoo's developers to execute business requirements, and work with sales team in pre & post-sales.

Support the growth of our partner network to become Odoo experts.

Implement our Odoo business software and deliver tailor-made training.

Suggest business flows before implementing agreed upon solutions.

Integrate new Apps as per business requirements.

Manage user access by creating and deactivating user accounts within the Odoo platform

Run exception reports to advise any issues and shortfall

Liaise with the Odoo support team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, while actively monitoring and maintaining overall system health.

Lead end-to-end software implementation projects, including planning, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and workflows.

Serve as the primary point of contact during implementation, managing expectations and timelines.

Work closely with engineering and support teams to address technical needs.

Train stakeholders and ensure smooth adoption of solutions through hands-on guidance and documentation.

Monitor and evaluate the success of each implementation, identifying opportunities for improvement or expansion.

Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes and tools in alignment with company growth goals.

Stay current on product updates and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to senior management.

General IT support where required

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Essential)

2 years' experience working with Odoo implementation.(Essential)

5 years proven experience in the IT industry. Experienced in software implementation, systems integration, or IT consulting.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with stakeholders and technical teams. (superior English preferred)

Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to enterprise software (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into software solutions.

Ability to train users and deliver clear, supportive documentation and guidance.

A collaborative mindset and adaptability to work in fast-paced, growing environments.
