An Amazing opportunity is now available to work for an Award-Winning and well-established Café in Rhodes where you can continue to develop your skills & expertise.

We at Lilly’s Espresso & Cucina, are looking for an experienced and creative Breakfast Chef on a full-time basis to join our team. Working Monday to Friday morning shifts. We offer a competitive wage package to the right candidate.

The Role and responsibilities:

Preparing a range of cakes & pastries to a high standard.

Preparing catering orders to a high standard

Ensure menu, food standards, procedures, and processes are followed

Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and presentation

Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen is in line with current health regulation standards

Assist Day Chef and Larder with day-to-day kitchen service

Checking off deliveries and stock rotation

This job is for you if you:

Lead by example

Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Breakfast cooking in a similar role

Work well under pressure, confident in your ability and decision making

Deliver a consistent product, demonstrating the ability to maintain high standards

Good communicator and able to display a positive attitude

Have great knowledge of food produce & you are proud of what you use in your kitchen

Love creating, serving, and eating great food

Are a leader who cultivates a positive team atmosphere and can train & mentor a kitchen team

Are passionate about producing great tasting, beautiful looking quality food, consistently

Are enthusiastic & well organised to manage your section of the Café service, along with the catering that our Café provides to our corporate clients

Are a good communicator, able to display a positive attitude with a sense of fun & humour

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role

Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy mornings

Excellent knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and recipes

Strong organizational and time management skills

A passion for delivering exceptional food and customer experiences

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Must have Commercial Cooking IV or higher

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience

Must have full working rights -no sponsorship is available

Job Benefits

Salary between $73,000 and $76,000 with annual leave and super, depending on experience
