About the Role

The Growth & Support Specialist – NSW/ACT is a pivotal role within the Total Fitouts network, acting as a trusted advisor and coach to Franchise Partners within the region. This role is responsible for delivering high-level business coaching, operational support and fitout expertise to drive sustained growth, operational excellence and compliance.

This is a field-based coaching position (you won't be on the tools), with the administrative component of the role undertaken from home. Regular, planned travel to Franchise Partner locations is expected (typically 1–2 days per week), complemented by virtual engagement where appropriate. Additional travel may be required for onboarding, complex support needs or attendance at national and international events.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored business coaching, training and operational guidance to Franchise Partners to enhance overall business performance.

Conduct site visits and project reviews, critically assessing quality, identifying risk and recommending areas for improvement.

Undertake regular performance reviews, including financial analysis and compliance assessments, to uphold franchise standards and mitigate potential risks.

Lead onboarding and training programs for new Franchise Partners, supporting their understanding and implementation of Total Fitouts systems and processes.

Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Finance, Systems) and external advisors (Legal, HR) to deliver holistic support to Franchise Partners.

Guide Franchise Partners on strategic sales, marketing, operational improvements and profitability initiatives.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Franchise Partners, suppliers, corporate clients and other key stakeholders.

Provide support in managing complex client or operational issues, drawing upon your construction and business development expertise.

Ensure adherence to all franchise systems, contractual obligations and applicable industry regulations.

What You'll Bring

Construction background – You have experience in construction, fitouts or franchising. Time spent as a business owner or Project Manager in the commercial fitout sector will be highly regarded.

Business coaching experience – You’re confident supporting others in business development or operational improvement, with a track record of guiding people effectively.

Strong communicator – You build relationships easily and are comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders.

Operational know-how – You’re familiar with systems used in construction, including estimating tools, safety processes and best practice procedures.

Commercial awareness – You understand sales pipelines, financial reports and how to improve business profitability.

Tech-savvy – You’re comfortable using digital tools, systems and documentation in a mobile work environment.

Able to travel – You hold a current driver’s licence and are willing to travel weekly across NSW and the ACT, with occasional travel interstate or overseas.
