As the Supervisor Cemeteries, you'll be the guardian of our community's cherished resting places. You'll lead a team of dedicated staff and contractors, ensuring our cemeteries are maintained to the highest standards. From planning and scheduling maintenance to liaising with funeral directors, your role will be both dynamic and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Inspire and manage a team of cemetery staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Technical Expertise: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and oversee minor projects.
• Community Engagement: Work closely with funeral directors and the public, providing empathetic and professional service.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: A background in Horticulture, Cemetery and Crematorium Operations, or a related field. A General Construction Induction Training (White Card) and a Light Rigid (LR)Licence are essential.

• Experience: Proven experience in project planning, team management, or cemetery operations.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy, and excellent time management.
