About the role

Vital Dental and Medical Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in our Altona North, VIC 3025 clinic. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and supporting our doctors in delivering exceptional medical services.

We are a fast growing GP, Dental and Allied health clinic. We are conveniently located just off the Western Express Freeway, close to public transport and directly opposite the Altona Gate Shopping Centre. The role is currently on a casual basis, few days of the week, with ample opportunity for growth and responsibility.

What you'll be doing

Delivering high-quality clinical nursing services to patients

Assisting doctors with consultations, treatments and procedures

Providing health education and advice to patients on various health issues

Administering medications and vaccinations as required

Ensuring accurate documentation of patient records

Participating in quality improvement activities within the practice

What we're looking for

Strong clinical skills with experience in general practice

Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach

Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience working with electronic medical record systems and be familiar with “Best Practice” or similar software.
