Medstar Nursing Care is now expanding and seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our growing team of hospital professionals. We are specifically hiring for scrub nurse roles across multiple specialties including:

Cardiothoracic Scrub

General Surgical Scrub

Orthopaedic Scrub

Endoscopy / Bronchoscopy

ENT Scrub

Urology Scrub

Neurosurgical Scrub

DaVinci Robotic Scrub

This is a casual role, offering flexibility and excellent rates of pay. Join a supportive and dedicated agency with shifts available across leading hospitals in Adelaide, SA.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing scrub/scout services in operating theatres across various surgical specialties

Preparing the operating room, instruments, and surgical team for procedures

Ensuring sterile technique and patient safety at all times

Assisting in pre-operative and post-operative care as required

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation

Collaborating with multidisciplinary surgical teams to deliver best practice patient outcomes

Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

Minimum 2 years' scrub nurse experience in a hospital operating theatre setting

Proven competence in one or more of the following areas: Cardiothoracic, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, General, ENT, Endoscopy, Urology, Robotic Surgery

Strong understanding of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and infection control

Excellent clinical and communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to different surgical teams and environments
