Seeking a Registered Nurse for Inner North Brisbane General Practice

Clayfield Medical Centre welcomes applications to join our practice as a Registered Nurse.

Nursing role available consisting of 15-20 hours per week.

Clayfield Medical Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our exisiting nursing team. This positin consists of shifts on Thursdays & Fridays as well as occasional Wednesdays. You will largely be working alongside another nurse during your shifts. We are a busy private billing clinic with 9 Doctors.

The role includes the following duties –

Children and adult immunisations

Oral & Injectable medications administration

Wound care

ECG & Spirometry & Ear Syringing

Stock Control

Infection Control

Patient Recalls & Reminders

Handling Patient Enquiries

Triage support to reception staff

Cold Chain Management & Instrument Sterilisation

Assistance with minor ops & iron infusions

Skills & Experience

Children’s and Adult Immunisation (essential)

Quality People Skills

Registered Nurse AHPRA Registration

Experience in Best Practice software (preferred)

Experience in General Practice Nursing (preferred)

Must be PR or Australian Citizen, and has own car.
