ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Facilities Operations Lead, you’ll provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership for the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and efficient facilities operations across all Wodonga TAFE campuses. From infrastructure planning and safety compliance to contractor coordination and sustainability initiatives – you’ll be at the forefront of creating safe, functional, and inspiring learning environments.
Reporting directly to the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering major projects, driving operational improvement, and ensuring that our facilities align with the broader goals of Wodonga TAFE.
Selected Duties:
Leading and managing daily and strategic operations, including maintenance, security, and cleaning
Implementing effective maintenance programs that extend asset life and performance
Coordinating rapid responses to infrastructure issues, including after-hours support
Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring WHS compliance
Engaging and managing external contractors to maintain service excellence
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

Relevant degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in facilities operations management, including strategy, compliance, and team leadership.
Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical.
Desirable Postgraduate qualifications and/or professional certifications in Facilities Management or related areas.
