Position: Plant Manager – ElecSome Kilmany Facility

ElecSome is leading the way in circular economy innovation, transforming solar panel waste into valuable resources. As Australia’s first operational solar upcycling facility and soon to launch the world’s first silver recovery from panels, we're building something special.

We are now seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Plant Manager to lead operations at our flagship Kilmany plant. This is a rare opportunity to join a pioneering clean technology company that is redefining resource recovery and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the solar panel recycling and recovery facility

Lead and manage production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency

Drive continuous improvement in plant performance, cost management, and throughput

Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance across all plant activities

Collaborate with R&D, logistics, and commercial teams for product and process innovation

Manage maintenance programs, capital works, and infrastructure development

Build a culture of ownership, safety, and excellence

About You:

Proven experience managing industrial or manufacturing plants (waste, recycling, or energy sectors ideal)

Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

Familiar with production KPIs, lean manufacturing, and OH&S practices

Technical background in engineering, manufacturing, or operations

Passionate about sustainability and clean technologies

Strong communication and people skills to engage teams and stakeholders
