An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Financial Controller to join a leading global electronic market maker. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing reliable and timely management information that drives business decisions. With a focus on pricing, execution and risk management, this role is integral to the company's operations. The successful candidate will enjoy a generous salary package of $220,000 + Super and the convenience of working in Sydney CBD.
What you'll do:
As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include ensuring all internal and external financial reporting and filings are completed accurately and timely. You will manage all AASB / IFRS technical accounting considerations including sustainability reporting requirements. You will also lead both the external audits and relevant internal audits. In addition, you will manage the non-Trading treasury requirements for the business, ensuring robust cash and capital management. You will take regional lead in supporting the global Finance transformation agenda, taking the global lead on certain initiatives. Lastly, you will identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes, controls and work papers.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller role will have a proven track record in Finance management roles with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience with accounting systems is essential, with NetSuite experience being a plus. Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills are required for this role. The successful candidate will also possess strong business acumen, commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce or Business is required for this role.
