About the position:
The Asset Planner plays a key role in optimising the performance and value of the Parliament’s asset portfolio. The role supports high-quality service delivery by applying long term asset planning, analysing performance data, and promoting whole-of-lifecycle thinking. It provides guidance and reporting to stakeholders, identifies asset-related risks, and ensures practices align with organisational and policy expectations.
About us:
Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

About you:
You will have demonstrated experience in asset management with highly developed planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Your strong negotiation, advocacy and stakeholder management abilities will be key in this role. Knowledge of legislation, relations, Australian Standards, practices and guidelines in relation to infrastructure assets and asset management and planning will be advantageous.

- The role will collate and analyse asset management data, in consultation with key internal stakeholders, across multiple teams. What is your experience working across teams, managing multiple stakeholder expectations.
