About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Medical Receptionist who is warm, highly organised, and emotionally intelligent to manage front desk operations in a busy and rewarding specialist setting. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering a gold-standard patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide polished and professional front desk service to patients and healthcare professionals

Manage high-volume phone enquiries and appointment bookings across multiple specialties

Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information in line with privacy legislation

Remain calm and solution-focused under pressure

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline patient care

Show initiative, attention to detail, and ownership of daily tasks

Provide flexible availability including evenings and occasional weekends

About You

Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills

Calm, confident multitasker who works well under pressure

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a specialist medical practice

Proficient with Microsoft Word and medical software systems

Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to patient privacy

Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
