About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join INDUR TRADING PTY LTD' as a Retail Manager. you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store operations in our Whitfield, VIC location. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career progression.

What you'll be doing

Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards

Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices

Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services

Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use

Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

Undertaking budgeting for the establishment

Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff

Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales

Manage all day-to-day retail operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and implementing sales strategies

Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Ensure the store meets all operational, health and safety, and compliance standards

Collaborate with the Head Office team on product selection, marketing, and strategic initiatives

Foster a positive and engaging work environment for the store team

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Retail Manager or Assistant Manager role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry

Excellent leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills

Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret and act on sales data

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a team

Demonstrated experience in inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting

A passion for the Retail & Consumer Products industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
