We are seeking an experienced and passionate Retail Shop Manager to lead our flagship patisserie at St Ives.

As a retail and customer-focused manager, you will lead the team to deliver the best possible service to all our customers and maintain a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Overseeing the hiring, training and day-to-day supervision of staff

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

· Manage and motivate a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

· Oversee product range, inventory levels and service quality standards

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and staff

· Manage daily operations and ensure an exceptional in-store experience

· Handle stock control, customer feedback and problem resolution

· Open and close the store as required

· Meet KPIs while adhering to budgetary guidelines

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Retail Shop Manager in Australia, managing team of 15+ in a fast- paced café/ retail environment

· Full working rights in Australia (mandatory)

· Strong organisational and time management skills

· Ability to prioritise and manage difficult situations in a fast-paced environment

· Resilient, proactive, and hands-on approach with a “can-do” attitude and a genuine care factor

· Demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate a team to meet achieve excellent customer service goals

· Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced environment

· Sound decision-making and conflict-resolution skills

· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

· High attention to personal and store presentation

· Ablity to implement and manage in-store promotions

· Keen interest to inspire others to learn and develop

· Flexible availability, including early mornings, late finishes and weekends

· Passion for people, service, food, beverage and coffee, creating memorable experience

Position: Full time

Salary: $73,150 plus super.
