An exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced medical secretary to join a specialist medical practice in North Adelaide.
Our clinic is situated on Melbourne St and is a multi-disciplinary specialist practice.
The ideal candidate should be friendly, confident and reliable. Previous experience as a medical secretary within a private practice specialist's rooms is preferable.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Booking patient appointments
Patient, health fund and Medicare billing
Some accounting duties
Collection of payments and end of day reconciliation
Organising theatre lists and anaesthetists
Audiotyping
Maintain medical and office supplies
Paperless office – scanning, emailing
Use of Genie medical software (experience with Genie or similar software required)
The successful applicant will be hired on permanent part-time basis (0.6FTE)
