The Role
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset Finance Broker to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to Australian business owners, helping them secure tailored finance solutions for a wide range of business-critical machinery at the dealership. The business has operated for over 40 years and is one of Sydney largest Earthmoving dealers. With several global brands and award-winning operation you will not only be joining the market leader but also work in a dynamic and hard fast working environment.
Job Opportunity –
In this role you will need to have the experience and relationships with the banks, This dealership already has finance account with one of the OEM’s. They need someone that can set up the other banks and bring them onboard. You will financially accredited and have the commercial and technical experience to run the entire operation. You will work with the CFO and MD and look to manage all machinery deals that require financial support. Its critical that you have this experience. We will not look at anyone that can’t achieve this result.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with sales team daily, building strong relationships and trust through in person and phone-based communication.
Gather client information and documentation to facilitate smooth and successful finance application approvals.
Comfortable in preparing approval conditions and knows how to process their own settlement documentation
Prepare and submit comprehensive finance applications and credit submissions through a wide range of lender portals.
Leverage your knowledge of lender credit policies to strategically match clients with the most suitable financier.
Analyse and interpret financial documents, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and bank statements.
Support clients purchasing machinery and other business assets by collating key documents required for credit approval.
Collaborate with our internal team to structure, package, and submit high-quality finance applications.
Work across a diverse lending panel, handling transactions from $25,000 to $250,000.
Maintain a strong understanding of commercial asset finance products including those related to tractors, machinery, vehicles, and more.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a blend of analytical skill, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of commercial lending. You are customer-focused, results-driven, and enjoy winning deals while delivering great service.
Key Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit assessment or commercial asset finance broking.
Proficient in analysing financial statements and understanding servicing requirements for commercial finance.
In-depth knowledge of the asset finance landscape and key lenders across Australia.
Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, CRM platforms) and the ability to embrace tech-driven efficiencies.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills with a strong emotional intelligence (EQ).
Highly driven and competitive, with a passion for success and achieving targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable handling financial documents and communicating with both clients and financiers.
Confident and personable with a natural ability to build trust and rapport.
Sales-minded with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Location – Ingleburn NSW – Monday to Friday – Office Based
Salary Package
· Base Salary - $130,000 to $150,000
· Superannuation – 11.5%
· Uncapped Coms - $100,000
· Company Car – Mazda BT250
