ABOUT THE ROLE
The Events Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the operational and strategic elements of all Peattie Events festivals and events, taking policies and procedures and administering them during the week.
Operating with some degree of autonomy, the right candidate will take ownership of their role in coordinating a range of administrative tasks including updating databases, invoicing, event bookings, event communications and related activities concurrently, with varying timelines and workloads, in a high volume work environment.
Age and event experience is NO barrier to this role – it’s character, integrity, being highly organised with a strong and demonstrated administrative skill set that is the priority.

Reporting directly to the Event Manager, you will thrive in an environment that is always busy, have an acute attention to detail and LOVE interacting with people from all walks of life.
You are a highly organised, confident, operate with integrity, a people-person with a great deal of common-sense. You're able to provide direction to others, with a smile and positive attitude.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience:
· Proven capacity to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and deadlines through the application of excellent time management and prioritisation skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience preparing reports, correspondence and formal documents
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Demonstrated experience with database management
· Customer focussed with a problem-solving approach
· Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite /365 and Xero
· Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of event operations or project management, budget management and financial accountability and stakeholder liaison is highly desirable
· Experience with Mailchimp and social media platforms are highly desirable
Skills:
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and contribute to process development
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders including the broader Peattie Events team, event Producers and Vendors and, members of the public
· Thrive working as part of a dynamic and energetic team and also able to work efficiently independently
DETAILS
Permanent Part Time Position $69,160.00 Pro Rata + 12% Superannuation + Car Park
27 hours per week – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
The position commences Tuesday June 03, 2025
