We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Part Time Administration Officer to work as part of our busy team. This role includes being the first point of contact for our members and stakeholders, supporting the delivery of our events, and general office administration.
The successful person will be comfortable in a people-facing role and able to anticipate and meet the needs of our members, partners, and other staff. They will be competent with technology, motivated to learn new systems, and able to teach and support others to use technology.
Our ideal candidate will:
Be highly organised, motivated and able to juggle competing priorities
Be skilled in a range of Microsoft Office applications
Be comfortable with technology and be able to act as trouble shooter for basic IT issues and liaise with our IT support provider
Have excellent communication skills
Have experience in hosting events using online platforms e.g. Zoom and Webex
This is a 28-30hr per week role based in Chifley. It is classified as a SCHADS Award, Community Worker Level 3 currently $37.35 -$40.00/hr ($73,804-$79,040p/a pro rata) plus salary sacrificing

Selection Criteria
1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of people.
2) Well developed digital literacy skills, including experience with:
Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Teams
website content management systems such as WordPress
managing contact lists or data bases such as CiviCRM
Social media platforms
video conferencing such as Teams, Zoom and Webex
3) Effective time management skills, with an eye for detail and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
4) Proven administrative and organisational skills including experience using spreadsheets, records management systems, and detailed knowledge of Microsoft programs.
5) Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others in a small team, taking personal responsibility for achieving work outcomes and working independently.
6) Ability to provide basic IT troubleshooting support to staff with advice and direction from our external IT service providers.
7) Commitment to the values of the Health Care Consumers’ Association and working within a health promotion framework.
8) Willingness and availability to work after hours and on weekends to support HCCA events when needed.
Desirable Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in administration.
Experience in the community sector or not for profit organisations.
Current driver’s licence.
