About the Role
We are a small, well-established business specialising in custom window furnishings, and we're looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a varied, entry-level role. No prior experience in the industry is required – full training will be provided.
This position offers a hands-on introduction to all areas of the window furnishing industry, including customer service, showroom consultations, quoting, administration, product knowledge, and coordination of installations. As your confidence and knowledge grow, there are clear pathways into more specialised roles in sales, customer service, or operations.

About the Window Furnishing Industry
Window furnishings play a key role in both functionality and aesthetics within homes and commercial spaces. From blinds and curtains to shutters and awnings, the products we work with require technical knowledge, creativity, and great customer service to help clients find the right solution for their space. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in interiors, home improvement, or hands-on design-related retail.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting customers in the showroom
Managing phone and email enquiries
Booking appointments and scheduling installers
Quoting from floor plans and assisting with product selections
Coordinating product orders and receiving deliveries
Organising daily runs for the installation team
General administrative and operational support
About You
Friendly and approachable, with strong communication skills
A genuine interest in window furnishings, interiors, or home styling
High attention to detail and solid organisational skills
Confident using Microsoft Office and Gmail/Google Calendar
Experience with Xero is a bonus but not essential
Prior experience in administration or customer service is helpful but not required
