Established in 1965, our client, Easytow Boat Trailers is one of Australia’s most experienced manufacturers of high-quality custom-built boat trailers. Situated in Heathcote they are seeking a Procurement Warehouse Coordinator to join their hard-working, cohesive team. With a strong reputation for excellence and precision craftsmanship, they are dedicated to delivering superior products to their customers across Australia.

About the role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in managing all facets of the supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement of local and international materials, and maintaining optimal stock levels in the warehouse. You will be responsible for communication with all internal stakeholders, coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure materials, parts, and supplies required for production.

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock movements, and supplier agreements.

Monitor stock levels and implement inventory control measures.

Conduct quarterly stocktakes and reconcile inventory records.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.

Coordinate with administration, sales and production teams to ensure materials are available as needed.

Oversee warehouse organization and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

Strategic thinking, strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and the ability to prioritise your workload.

A team player with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels, including suppliers, management, warehouse and production teams.

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (preferably in a manufacturing environment).

Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

A forklift license (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.

Knowledge of boat trailer components or the automotive industry is desirable.
