Cold-Rite Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Supervisor

Cold-Rite are seeking an experienced service technician / service supervisor looking to gain experience in a leadership / management position. Join our team in a hybrid role on and off the tools.

Reporting to the Director and acting as a key leader in charge of driving operational efficiency and effective management of the field team.

We require a mix of trade experience and hands-on involvement in daily operations of the team to deliver projects, preventative maintenance and reactive work on time and on budget for our clients.

Duties:

Manage and lead technicians and apprentices

Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and subcontractor management

Conduct site inspections, complete quotes, and generate reports and invoices

Develop and implement strategies for new business development and revenue growth

Collaborate with management to streamline processes for improved operational efficiency

Quote projects accurately

Manage commercial service and maintenance contracts

Order and manage stock and materials for continued operations

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships

Ensure quality control and high standards of workmanship.

Experience:

Familiarity with Aroflo job management software

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified tradesman

Minimum of 3 years in team leader or supervisor role

Cert III Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Minimum basic computer skills, intermediate computer skills is ideal

A diverse working background across both service and installation sides of the trade

Leadership skills to bring out the best in the team

Strong focus on nurturing team growth and development

Excellent interpersonal skills to establish credibility and determine immediate priorities upon joining the team
