About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Air Conditioning Service Manager to join our team at Gladstone Refrigeration & Air-conditioning in Gladstone, Queensland. As the Air Conditioning Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality air conditioning and refrigeration services to our valued clients. This full-time role is integral to the success of our business operations in the local Gladstone community.

What you'll be doing

Manage a team of skilled technicians to ensure efficient and timely completion of all service and maintenance tasks

Provide expert technical guidance and training to the service team to continuously improve their skills and knowledge

Oversee the maintenance of the company's vehicle fleet and equipment to maximise productivity

Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

Quoting repairs and ordering spare parts

Prepare detailed job reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities

Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs

Support the overall business objectives and contribute to the continuous improvement of operations

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in air conditioning and refrigeration service management

Trade qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration, ideally with a Certificate III or higher

Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues

Strong leadership and people management skills to effectively coordinate and motivate a team

Outstanding customer service orientation and communication skills

Proficient in preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate job records

Current driver's licence and ability to operate a commercial vehicle
