St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital is a 60-bed rehabilitation hospital focused on supporting patients to regain independence and improving their quality of life by offering specialist neurological, cardiac, orthopaedic, movement disorder (including Parkinson's disease) and reconditioning programs to patients from across the Mornington Peninsula and Greater Melbourne areas.

Your role at St John of God Frankston Hospital
You will provide supervision and support to caregivers in the Environmental Services department, ensuring environmental duties inclusive of cleaning, inspection of patient rooms, common areas, control of supplies and equipment maintenance, are performed throughout the hospital in compliance with the Hospital mission, objectives and policies and Infection Control Policies and Guidelines.

The Position

Contribution to Service delivery is coordinated to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer (i.e. doctors, patients, visitors, caregivers).

Ensure that high standards of professional practice are provided and maintained.

Always be courteous and friendly to customers.

Respect the values, beliefs and spiritual needs of all customers.

Ensure customer complaints are handled in accordance with the complaints policy.

Ensure Environmental Services and its caregivers are provided with adequate supplies of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies including the replacement of general paper products for the hospital and daily linen requirements.

Direction and supervision of Environmental Services Caregivers on a day to day basis

Ensure caregivers within the portfolio have performance development plans, where they are held accountable for meeting expectations and agreed goals that are reviewed at least annually

You will have a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to, quality improvement and maintaining standards of cleanliness.

To succeed you will have experience in managing a complex rostering and staff allocation system and demonstrated experience in the Health Care industry, preferably within a hospital setting.

The Benefits:

Salary: $67,569 to $69,232 (Pro rata basis) plus 11.5% superannuation

Permanent part time role, working 30.4 hours a fortnight
