As an Estimator, you will be responsible for quoting both minor and large-scale roofing projects, creating detailed scopes of work, managing contracts, and breaking down the costs for each job. Your duties will include:

Site Visits: Traveling to multiple job sites to assess project needs and gather information.

Tender Assistance: Supporting the team with tendering for larger projects.

Client Networking: Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Project Coordination: Collaborating with Roofing Supervisors to schedule sub-contractors and manage workflow.

Documentation & Communication: Accurately inputting roofing orders, ensuring excellent document control, and communicating clearly with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Create precise and comprehensive estimates for roofing jobs

Review and interpret project drawings and specifications

Ensure deadlines are met for quoting and project planning

Track costings, creating and issuing of variations during project delivery

Provide strong administrative support, including document management and project tracking

Support Roofing Supervisors in scheduling and coordinating sub-contractors

Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in the roofing industry, with strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office

Strong document control and organizational skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects

Excellent communication skills, both with clients and internal teams
