Position: Chef

Salary: $74,000 - $79,000 per year PLUS Superannuation​

We are a well established Japanese restaurant located in Dubbo NSW serving up outstanding Japanese cuisines. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our kitchen team.

Task & Responsibilities

- Overseas daily kitchen operation

- Menu creation, costing and budgeting

- Producing and designing a variety of dishes/menus

- Preparing and cooking from raw ingredients to presentation ensuring quality

- Managing and overseeing kitchen operation

- Manage food storage to preserve quality

- Preparation of ingredients and meals to the highest standard and in a timely manner

- Maintaining stock levels & ordering Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times

- Complying with health, food and safety regulations

- Train cooks and kitchen staff

Qualification, Experience and Skills set

- at least 3 years highly relevant work experience as a chef

- Sound understanding of food safety and health regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Great leadership skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
