About the Role
We are seeking passionate and experienced Chefs and Chef de Parties to join our dynamic culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with premium ingredients in a high-performing, supportive kitchen environment across some of Sydney’s most respected venues.
In this role, you will take ownership of your section, deliver consistently high-quality dishes, and support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in executing seasonal menus that celebrate the essence of Italian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your designated section, ensuring precision, efficiency, and consistency in flavour, texture, and presentation.
· Follow established recipes and portion controls while contributing to overall menu consistency and quality.
· Collaborate effectively with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth, coordinated service during high-volume periods.
· Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations and internal policies.
· Monitor and manage inventory levels; assist with ordering and implement stock rotation procedures to minimise waste.
· Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to develop skills and maintain kitchen standards.
· Contribute to the development and execution of seasonal menu updates, offering creative input aligned with the restaurant’s culinary vision.
· Ensure all dishes are prepared to accommodate dietary requirements, allergens, and special requests with care and accuracy.
About You
Minimum one year experience as a Cook or Chef in a quality dining environment.
Passionate about Italian cuisine, with a strong grasp of traditional techniques and ingredients.
Organised, calm under pressure, and dedicated to producing outstanding food.
Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
High attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high standards in every aspect of service.
Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
