Employment: Permanent Full Time

Position Duties:

• Working to Workplace Health and Safety and National Heavy Vehicle Regulation requirements
• Working and interacting with traffic, other heavy vehicles on commercial sites throughout Melbourne
• Collection & delivery of hook lift bins in a timely & safe manner
• Maintaining a clean vehicle
• Daily prestart & maintenance checks on vehicles & equipment
• Completing daily paperwork and safety documentation.
• Communicating throughout the day with operations manager
• Communicating with customers on site

Position Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Safety and Compliance in Transport environment
• Current HR Driver Licence & provide Vic Roads history print out
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Experience operating HR Trucks
• MUST have experience driving waste trucks full time in Metro Melbourne.
• Early morning starts
• Be flexible to work overtime as required
• Rostered weekend work required
• Be physically fit
• Reliable & trustworthy
• Knowledge of Melbourne greater area, primarily South Eastern Suburbs
• Pride in appearance and personal image
• Ability to work within a team
• Police check & ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
