Cobra Waste is a Proudly Australian owned and operated waste company that specializes in providing reliable Skip bin services across the Sydney Metro.

The opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for multiple HR SKIP Truck drivers along with Hook Lift Drivers to join our Yennora team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play an important part in the transportation of waste material from our customer sites across the Sydney Metro area.

As our newest driver, you will be part of a team that operates our SKIP trucks & Hook trucks collecting and transporting waste material from residential and commercial properties to designated disposal facilities. You'll work with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure that our waste removal services are carried out efficiently while ensuring the highest level of safety.

Responsibilities include:

Safely operate collection vehicles such as

Perform safe loading and unloading of skip bins onto collection vehicles

Perform daily prestart training and post-trip inspections of the collection vehicles, including post-vehicle checks

You'll be great in this role because:

To thrive in this role, you will need to have an HR license and previous experience driving Skip trucks.

Safety is of utmost importance to us, and we are seeking someone who can follow instructions and ensure our safety protocols and procedures are adhered to.

We are looking for individuals who are calm, resilient, possess strong time management skills, and have a high degree of concentration and attention to detail. Additionally, you should have a professional approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
