We started with a stall at a flea market in Denmark. In 1988, the first brick-and-mortar store opened Copenhagen.
The franchise currently operates in 37 countries with nearly 1,000 stores and has ambitious global growth plans, including a rapid expansion in Australia.

What are your Responsibilities?
Business performance
P&L responsibility for the area.
Conduct regular store visits to follow up on KPIs for the area.
Coach and support Store Managers and Store teams to maximise sales and profitability through high standards of operational execution.
Achieve financial targets and KPIs as set by the Retail Manager.
Analyse stores performance and take prompt actions as appropriate.
Lead the store managers and staff in creating a great customer experience through the Flying Tiger Copenhagen way of customer service.
Retail Operations
Ensure standards are followed according to the Flying Tiger Copenhagen concept, Commercial Model and the Store Operations Manual.
Follow-up operational performance and progress of the stores in the area through the Instore Excellence tool.
Actively facilitate efficient planning in the district and ensure that the budget is followed.
Ensure that stores comply with local policies, legal requirements and ethical standards including local health and safety regulations.
Lead, coach and train store teams to effectively execute and maintain retail operations and visual merchandising standards.
Leadership
Direct responsibility for the Store Managers in the area, leading by example, provide training, coaching and feedback.
Responsible for people management within the stores in the area; this includes recruitment, selection, staff engagement, performance management and development.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff; contribute to effective team working by partnering with store staff and colleagues in the office.
Develop and motivate store managers, ensure talent development, well-being, and retention in the stores.
Execute the local rules and guidelines in terms of working environment and labour laws.

Strong selling skills combined with sales coaching skills.
Outstanding communication skills and self-driven to achieve KPIs in a dynamic environment.
Practical and collaborative approach to manage, coach, and motivate teams and engage multiple stakeholders across the organization.
A strong growth mindset and commercial awareness to spot performance improvement initiatives to drive sales and profitability, and to make them come alive.
Inspiring leader that can lead face-to-face and remotely.
Strong understanding of retail operations and KPI steering.
Flexible and pragmatic attitude.
Ability to connect, build relations and communicate effectively.
Ability to engage, motivate and mobilize teams on different locations.
Great organizational skills and ability to perform and adapt to a high demand, time-sensitive, fast-paced changing environment.
