Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team. This is a contractor role with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role, office-based and ability to grow your career in a supportive, professional and client-focused environment. We are committed to your growth, providing structured training, development opportunities, and full support towards your CA or CPA qualification.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Prepare end-to-end financial statements and tax returns for Individuals, Companies, Partnerships, and Trusts.

Manage BAS, IAS, and FBT lodgements.

Deliver valuable tax planning and business advisory services, helping clients monitor and improve performance through insightful analysis.

Utilise accounting software efficiently (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).

Cultivate strong client relationships through quality service and communication.

Think strategically and provide proactive solutions to client needs.

Your Profile:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

CA or CPA qualified, or currently undertaking.

4 + years of relevant experience in an Australian public practice/business services role.

Solid grasp of accounting standards and compliance requirements.

Experience with Xero, MYOB or other cloud platforms.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
