A celebrated Mackay based practice with strong roots within the public practice accounting profession is seeking either an in-house/hybrid/remote Senior Accountant to join their growing business services & taxation team.

The Role

Prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entities (excluding SMSFs).

ATO liaison.

BAS + IAS preparation.

Regularly communicate with clients from various industries.

Collaborate with Manager's and Partner's to ensure client needs are met.

Requirements

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you should have:

2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm.

Ideally CA/CPA qualified.

Expertise in producing financial statements and tax returns for all entities (no SMSF exp req)

Proficiency in Division 7A, CGT, and FBT matters.

Strong communication skills.

Proficiency in cloud-based software.

Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
