The Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will:
Deliver engaging training sessions for the Diploma of Arboriculture via a blend of online and face to face sessions, and/or the Certificate III in Arboriculture, via on the job training and assessing.
Assess students’ competencies through practical and theoretical evaluations.
Provide mentorship and support to students pursuing careers in arboriculture.
Provide study support as required
Ensure compliance with VET Quality Framework and training package requirements.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Qualifications: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent - TAE40110 accepted).
Industry Experience: Extensive experience in arboriculture, with a Certificate III in Aboriculture (to teach the Cert III) or Diploma of Arboriculture or higher (to teach the Diploma).
Skills: Strong communication, facilitation, and assessment skills.
Passion: A commitment to environmental sustainability and student success.
