The salary range for this role is $37.35 to $40.05 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

About this role
You’ll be joining a very busy and productive office environment, where no two days are the same. You’ll support the delivery of tenancy and property management services, helping vulnerable community members access safe, secure housing. Your work ensures that tenants feel supported, heard, and cared for — every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting client interviews and assessing eligibility.
- Referring clients to appropriate housing and support services.
- Handling enquiries, maintenance requests, tenancy breaches and complaints.
- Assisting Housing Officers with tenancy management and property inspections.
- Preparing tenant communications including newsletters and supporting community events.
- Maintaining accurate tenant and property records in compliance with regulations.
- Producing reports on rent payments, tenancy issues and maintenance needs.
- Actively contributing to tenant satisfaction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
What you can bring to the team
Situated in Ipswich, we are looking for a compassionate, organised, and proactive team player with a passion for making a difference through community housing services.
To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:
- A Certificate IV in Social Housing (or equivalent skills and experience).
- Minimum two years’ experience in housing, tenancy, or community services.
- Knowledge of tenancy legislation and the social housing sector (desirable).
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and negotiation abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to support Churches of Christ’s Christian mission and values.
Possess or willingness to obtain;
- Current National Police Certificate
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Valid driver's licence.
