We are seeking a part-time (0.64) Preschool Field Officer to join our dedicated team in Ballarat. The Preschool Field Officer (PSFO) program assists educators in funded 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs to plan and deliver a kindergarten program that provides for the access, learning and development, and meaningful participation of children with additional needs.
The PSFO's role is to support early childhood teachers and educators to build their skills, knowledge and confidence to plan for and include all children.
The specific objectives for this role include;
- To support the access and participation of children with developmental delays and/or disabilities in funded kindergarten programs
- To build community capacity with educators in kindergartens
- This role would be ideally suited to those with experience in working in kindergartens or other early childhood settings.
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent is required and a current Victorian Driver’s License as travel to kindergartens is required for the role.
Salary as per Pinarc Disability Support Preschool Field Officers and Education Advisors Agreement 2022
This is a part-time, fixed-term position ending 26th December 2024.
Hours can be negotiated.
