ABOUT THE ROLE

As Assistant Manager (2IC), you will work with the Store Manager and be responsible for driving sales results for your business. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Creating a sales driven culture within the store through daily coaching and support

Ensuring all KPI's are met with a strong focus on customer service

Assiting in analysis of sales reports to identify and develop action plans for underperforming categories and products

Assiting in recruitment, performance and career development of your team

Assiting in stock feedback and inventory management

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced strategically minded Retail Assistant Manager who has proven sales results and a passion for leading and building high performing teams. Additionally, you will possess:

The ability to lead, coach and develop a large sales team

A proven track record in achieving sales budgets and bottom line profits

The ability to follow and achieve wage budget in line with sales

Passion for the surf lifestyle and providing an exceptional customer experience

High level of communication skills and an ability to build relationships

Strong business acumen
