We are seeking an excitable and skilled person to come on board take the restaurant to an even higher level!
This role will work in conjunction with the Venue Manager and assist in the operation of the entire venue—including Mr. Miyagi, Yukie's Snack Bar, and Level One Events Space. You will need to be full of energy, love talking to guests, adaptable, and an all-round legend!

Responsibilities include:
Assisting in managing the overall operation of our flagship restaurant Mr. Miyagi
Providing unparalleled guest experiences
Running sections and hosting when required
In charge of running the restaurant when the Venue Manager is absent
Training and mentoring staff to ensure high standards
Curating culture and nurturing the team
Attention to detail and maintaining high service standards
Bringing your individual flair and motivating the team through unique leadership
Assist in managing relevant human resources duties including training, induction, rostering
Working closely with the Venue Manager and Group General Manager to ensure Mr. Miyagi remains one of Melbourne's premier and iconic restaurants

What do you need?
A friendly, energetic personality with an ability to build rapport easily with customers and staff
Ability to demonstrate a high level of management skills
Confidence in leading the team and running the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager
Ability to train, develop, and mentor staff
Working cooperatively with the senior management team
Outstanding communication skills
A professional demeanour
