We are searching for a Kitchen Supervisor to lead a small kitchen team in conjunction with the Facility Manager. You will work 0730 - 1800 four - five days a week preparing meals and manage ordering, basic compliance and menu development.

Responsibilities:
Ensure audit and compliance documents are completed on daily basis and up to date as per legislative requirements
Complete stock takes and ordering on weekly basis for facility and community meals (via online ordering or invoices)
Maintain relationships with suppliers
Check off orders and receipts for received goods
Work with compliance team to ensure food safety plan is updated annually
Manage and guide kitchen hands (1/2 staff)
Complete mandatory and continuous professional development training
Cook meals for facility and community clients whilst adhering to the aged care standards
Develop menu choices for facility and community clients whilst adhering to the aged care standards
Maintain safe and hygienic operation throughout total dietary and catering services
Clean kitchen equipment and other food service areas and maintain to established standard and schedules
About you:
· Experience cooking high quality meals in an aged care setting
· Cert III in hospitality highly regarded
· Experience with accreditation and the compliance requirements
· Aged care or hospital experience
· Leadership skills
· An effective communicator and willing to bring in new ideas
· A current police or NDIS check
· Live in Coober Pedy or willing to re-locate

This position is Full time and can include weekends as per employees' preferences.
